Selena Gomez delights fans with Paris adventure, drops hints about 'Love On' single
Selena Gomez is thoroughly enjoying her time in Paris! The renowned singer and actress delighted her fans by sharing glimpses of her stylish escapade to the City of Light on Instagram this past Sunday. Gomez, 31, posted several photos from her brief getaway to France. Among them was a captivating shot of her posing on a cobblestone street with the iconic Eiffel Tower gracing the skyline in the background. One particularly alluring image showed the "Only Murders in the Building" star reclining nude in a luxurious hotel bathtub, her back turned to the camera and strategically covered by bubbles. "40 hours. Paris. LOVE ON 2/22 ????" captioned Gomez alongside the slideshow post. The carousel of snapshots also featured her lounging in an elegant all-black outfit on a marble floor in a crimson-hued room, as well as two quintessentially Parisian scenes ? savoring flaky pastries and coffee at a patisserie. Gomez had previously announced her latest single, "Love On," in an Instagram post on February 15. In a January appearance on the SmartLess podcast hosted by Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, Gomez revealed her inclination towards focusing primarily on acting, even if it means putting her music career on hold. "I do feel like I have one more album in me, but I would probably prioritize acting," she confessed to the hosts from "Arrested Development" and "Will & Grace." Presently, Gomez is busy acting and producing the Emmy-nominated Hulu series "Only Murders In the Building," starring in "Selena + Chef" for MAX and Food Network, overseeing her Rare Beauty makeup line, and intermittently releasing singles and working on music during her spare moments. For the multi-talented artist ? who made her acting debut at the age of 10 on "Barney & Friends" ? maintaining an overwhelming schedule has never been her objective. She reflected on how her music career evolved from a side project to a significant endeavor, mentioning that Disney initially aimed for her to be a "triple threat" when she portrayed Alex Russo in "Wizards of Waverly Place." "I wanted to be an actress; I never really intended on being a singer full-time, but apparently that hobby turned into something else," Gomez mused during the podcast.
